Sukrut introduces “SHROUD” for PRV

      Shroud is an accessory fitted on the PRV to prevent spilling of hot oil all around the Transformer in case the PRV operates. It also prevents any damage to people around because of temperature of oil and its tendency to catch fire.

         In case the pressure in the tank rises above the specified pressure then PRV will operate and hot oil will be showered around the transformer top and surrounding area which may cause accidents. Wastage of costly transformer oil can also be prevented with the use of Shroud. The oil can be collected in a container through drain connection provided on shroud and same oil can be used again.
